"search with"
wohoooo thx! -

Comment box bugged for me…sorry!
-
Now all chat/read/write/comment box randomly bugged for me. Not to see the flashing cursor or indicator. / facebook chat, etc…. / PLS FIX THIS! It is not possible to write it only with an other browser.
It's possible to add a command line to it than new Chrome 56 canaries in a version? If I close the browser then the launch immediate, very quick. It is not necessary to wait. The browser runs in the background and beside the clock an icon signals it.
Example:
"C:\Users"USERNAME"AppData\Local\Google\Chrome SxS\Application\chrome.exe" --no-startup-window /prefetch:5Thank You!

This is how fonts looks to me. Download pictures to PC to see them sharp in 100% size. On left is Opera 38, latest version where DirectWrite can be disabled, on the right is default Vivaldi 1.5.638.3. Windows 7x64, Radeon x1950Pro, default Windows DPI, FHD 1920x1080 Windows Cleartype disabled:

And this is same Opera comparing with same Vivaldi runnin in virtual Win10, Cleartype on Windows 10 is enabled:

I just had to register to tell you how happy I am with the Search With feature! That was the O12 feature I was missing the most after switching to Vivaldi. Thank you for adding this
I don't know if it was mentioned before: a couple of snapshots ago dragging an URL to a bookmark folder in the sidebar went slightly broken. The bookmark does get added this way, but in the title field it saves the URL instead of the HTML title. This does not occur when I bookmark using the bookmark button in the URL bar.
I run the 64 bit version on Windows 10.
-
Cannot confirm,
Windows 10 Pro 64-bits, Vivaldi x64. UI scaled to 90% and 100% (tested both). -
Yep, can't confirm here, zoom seems just fine with Windows 7 64bits and NVidia GTX580+GTX980Ti, practically default profile settings
-
I confirm. Was using 125% on Windows 10 64bit, 1920x1080 and UI scaled to 125%, after installing this snapshot everything suddenly started being very big. Websites on 100% look like on 125% previously, only with more blur, but the UI is waaay bigger (except for scrollbar on te right) and looks strange.

reported by me as:
VB-12881
Though, it's probably hard to reproduce or/and fix. Since it's really one of the worst bugs I have ever seen in Vivaldi in general.
edit: just read forum posts and it's obviously a known bug but the trigger of it is still unknown and not fixable then… -
Tab dragging seems a lot more stable and usable this time around, working more as expected. Thanks for the hardwork.
Dragging over the empty area of the tab bar still makes the tab disappear. It isn't closed nor deleted, it just becomes a ghost, not belonging to any of the windows it was dragged between. Dragging any other tab makes it pop back up in the source window where it was before.
Dragging only works when dropped to the left of the new tab "+" button, ideally dropping anywhere in an existing Vivaldi window (except for the trash icon) would successfully make the tab move.
Anyway keep up the great work

VB-9951 panel toggle bug - white space
Visual bug, screenshot attached (the white space varies. If you use dark scheme, dark colour appears).
This is still happening even under W10 latest build (both Win and Vivaldi) with a clean profile of Vivaldi on all computers I have tested (3 very different PC's – always standalone install on W7, W8.1 and W10 with SSD). The flashing "panel/space" on the right move scroll bar for a second, too.I saw a bunch of report in a few last months but new version (1.5) is around the corner and no change…

Windows can't properly scale most of apps. That's the reason. It's very sad
-
Saw them as well, but never faced that behavior myself.
-
Trying to update fails, can't remove the old vivaldi.exe, deleting manually yields: "file is open in System".
When looking in OpenedFilesView, process vivaldi.exe is locked by System Process.
Need to reboot to be able to remove it, happened last couple builds.Windows 10 Pro x64 14393.321 // Vivaldi 1.5.633.16
-
Windows 10 Anniversary Edition, 125% Windows scaling, 115 UI scaling.
Now only 4 speed dial columns instead of six. I can fit six @ 90% scaling, and 115/90 = approx 1.25
-
It is now broken in a way that it can be repeated. It vanishes if the main HTML page looses focus, that can happen either by focusing another program and going back or by overlays that pop up as some editors show them. In the meantime: See "Known issues" above for a workaround.

Yay! ^_^
