Windows? Try again with same executable

Improved tab positioning and pinned tab. (VB-18677)
Much appreciated! Finally the scroll bar for tabs if one have more tabs (placed left) is gone and I can use switching by scrolling yet again!
edit: nope, can't scroll, scroll bar is gone but changing tabs by scrolling is broken -
can't scroll them with the scroll wheel (while hovering over them).
W8.1 x64 with this x32 buildso CONFIRMED

Do you think add a data saver or something like this? ^^
-
I see that this is not only during highlights of tabs, but also the non-current tab colors themselves with accent color on windows with non-transparent background tabs does make the colors for other tabs just more saturated on really red websites, some orange websites. But for other sites like FB, TechCrunch, etc. they look like they did in Vivaldi 1.2

Thanks for fixing the extensions-not-working-in-incognito bug! Can go back to Vivaldi as my default browser now. ))

Testing
Some tips:
- Autohiding/show on mouse over for UI elements
- Fix for "middle-click on bookmark bar folders" and "missing chrome://settings/certificates" without restoring profile in new update (not a bug, I think: it's related to profile "corruption")
- Group tabs (also) in tree style mode
- "Lock icon only" in url bar to save space
- Menu and drag for bookmark bar also
- Multi profile/backup and restore tool (ok, this will require time XD)
- No favicons on tab bar
- Reopen last "x" tabs (not only the last one) in tab bar
- Reload all tabs option
- Themes cycling and skinning scrollbar/contextual menus
-
Work on tabs is still ongoing… Prepare for further improvements

Watch out for VB-17753 in changelogs…

It would be nice to improve some things and focus on more important stuff rather than just visuals.
Detaching tabs is something that I still miss from day one since Vivaldi was released. I know you can move tabs around but its not close to the same. I run multiple monitors and moving tabs around is a pain with Vivaldi. This is the number one thing I miss and I think it was also the most asked featured in Reddit.
I also heavily dislike how tabs get smaller when you keep opening new tabs. This is the way Chrome does it and its horrible. All you see is dozens of X buttons. There comes a point you cannot select any tab anymore because all you see is the close button. Its impossible to manage tabs like this without closing them or having to cycle with ALT Tab for ever until you find the specific tab.
The way Firefox does it, is the way I actually like it and Opera copied the jump list feature as well. Firefox does make tabs smaller but only until a certain point. Then it shows a slider and you can go left and right sliding tabs and it also has a jump list to go directly to a specific tab. The way Firefox handles multiple tabs is way better, faster and easier. Its impossible to manage multiple tabs with Vivaldi or Chrome approach. Even Microsoft Edge has done this correctly except its missing the jump list Firefox of Opera has, but you get the general idea of why that is better.
Firefox also does the search bar better. There is something wrong with Vivaldi so I never use it, its just clunky. What is the point of having a search bar if you can't quickly change between search options? If I all someone needs is to search Google or one search site he can just use the url bar instead. With Vivaldi it takes 2 clicks or more steps that necessary, clicking the search bar and then having to select the search engine of choice again on each search. You can't use the keyboard here, Firefox has the tab option here and it automatically opens all the search options so you can select the choice which means you can search in one step and not two. Again, just look how Firefox manages the search bar as I think its poorly implemented in Vivaldi.
Just my 2 cents after using the stable for a while.

Yes, I have my theme rounded at 4px, and I notice the tabs are rounded a little less, which I don't love. I notice the rounded corners look a lot smoother than last snapshot's, which is great, but I want that roundedness of the tabs at 4px from before back.

There is still this bug where the "new tab" mouse gesture opens links that are already closed: http://imgur.com/77es9ny / VB-17832
Has anyone else experienced that? I'd love to get a feedback from the vivaldi team or other users, as I see that bug quite often - but I've have never read anything about somebody else having those problems.Apart from that: Thanks so much again for this great browser!

I'm prepared as never! fire it out!
(also don't forget to add option to hide the ugly + button on tab panel… I believe I removed it a few builds ago but maybe it was just a dream ) -

I have to agree. Maybe in time Vivaldi can improve the search box. However, I understand Rome wasn't built in a day.

Awesome!

I can't find this item. It's not been listed yet? So we surmise it means optimization?
