No time to rest. Vivaldi 1.1 is here with enhanced tab handling, better hibernation and more!
-
I do agree this is a bad place for requests. I guess i am just frustrated over the fact that browser for power users does not show download speeds.
-
thanks for fixing backspace behavior
-
btw, chrome bookmarks import does not work. Eventually i used the bookmarks html import which works fine but it might be a hurdle for others
-
Wow, so many people are asking about download speeds! I'm more for a tab cycler like O12's, but I'm already eager to look forward to what version 1.2 will bring. Hopefully it'll be the polishing that Vivaldi needs!
-
Thanks for the tip.

bugs:
1. Every time when i click any youtube video from google and im not login to my acc, when i refresh the video link im login in again.
2. Same problem with facebook pages, when i click on them from google page, when i refresh the link im login in

I don't have this problem. What are your cookie settings? Are you set to save "this session only" or reject 3rd party cookies?
-
Hihi, yes, but thats not a comfortable shortcut because you have to move your complete hand(s) to reach that keys. Ctrl+W or the same shortcut for opening (Alt+P) would be better.
And whats about the settings/content Page? Background: I want to quickly temporarily disable JavaScript via a minimum combination of keystrokes and/or mouseclicks. O12 hat the F12-Menue to do this. But even with the Vivaldi F2-Shortcut-Browser there ist no possibility to reacht this settings.

After update, the AVAST antivirus keeps me warning about vivaldi.exe everytime I open a new tab!
It's annoying, can you fix it?
-
No. Only Avast can fix a false positive. Report it to them.
-
It's a very small team. They have their hands full. They read here and in the forums, but seldom comment (more here than there). It's a small enough team that there is no one whose job it is to converse with us.
-
works for me vivaldi 1.1 x64
-
Opening files when downloading, still saves them in the default directory.
Whole point of not saving it is negated. It should be a temp file, deleted right afterwards. -
Right-click on the stack and choose "Hibernate Stack" from the context menu.
-
What I really miss are native support of User JS, native support of Site Preferences, native content blocker and spoofing of user agent. And of course email. Opera 12 is still much better in this regard. Too bad this new Vivaldi doesn't support Win XP.
-
Why Vivaldi is showing 100% usage of my SSD? (constant writes)
-
Something that I would love if Vivaldi is the ability to manage bookmarks in the bookmark bar with greater ease. Just a suggestion.
PS: I love Vivaldi! -
Within my Vivaldi account I changed my e-mail address and now I don't get updates to this page. The address works. Is there a different place I need to change the address so I can get the update e-mails? Thanks for any help.
-
This. Changelog clearly indicates that it has been addressed
Emulation tab in Developer Tools is not present [VB-14710]
but for the life of me, I can't enable / find it. Anyone have any info on this?
