No time to rest. Vivaldi 1.1 is here with enhanced tab handling, better hibernation and more!

Great job, can we have more speed dial tiles customization? many of my tiles are blank due to the nature of the site in question, and so I would need the option to manually upload an image into them to help distinguish better one from the other, but sadly I don't have this option in vivaldi yet.
Thanks for the update.

What about x64? No longer experimental. Is it stable?
-
YESSS !! updates going good & fast just like the browser itself does !! Congrats team on this next mile-stone
-
vivaldi (chromium) dropped support for a few older systems like vista, xp. Is this still true for ubuntu 12.04 with this release?
-
Very nice but there is still "drag tab to create new window" funkction missing. Will we ever get it? Please! I need it!
-
Vivaldi closed when I use chromeIPass addon. It looks like as the same problem with GetPocket addon. http://joxi.ru/Bv29ojKUNvYOrG

Now I can ask for new features…
1. Alt-Enter in address bar for new tab creation.
2. Close all tabs to the right (and left if you want to cover everything) option in tab context menu. -
Wow, and Bother! I was just going to mutter about Bookmarks not accepting new nicknames and displaying existing ones in the wrong order - and now I've got to start all over again!
-
I tend to agree with you, but I strongly disagree with your font size. -1
-
You can no longer see TLS details in the adressbar.

Cool ! Now, extension URLs are working well ! (at least for LastPass!). Perfect update. Thanks !

The built-in auto update feature shows that I'm using the latest version 1.1.453.45, whereas the latest one is actually 1.1.453.47. I don't know if that's a bug or it is supposed to work like that.
Anyway, I'm still waiting for the fix for touch screen actions. I can't use anything past 1.0.420.4 on my tablet, where I made Vivaldi my main browser a long time ago… :!: -
I want to drag my tabs out to the second monitor without right-clicking on the tab to move it to a new window.
-
Bug: Connected Tab opened by mouse gesture most right position
When I open a link via ctrl+left click or right click menue->Open in new tab it opens the tab right of active, as its supposed to (for a connected page)
Bug: When I open it via the mouse gesture (down or down, up) it opens it in the last position although its a connected tab..keep up the good work, after improved bookmark handling I switch over
-
This might be a stupid question, but how do I get the tab close button to appear over the favicon, rather than to the right of the tab?
-
The two major things preventing me from using Vivaldi:
- search suggestions still don't work
- non customizable mouse gestures
Then there are lots of little things but I'll talk about them when the major ones are fixed
-
regression still not fixed: dragging a link from the address field to the bookmarks panel!
my being annoyed by this has turned into utter frustration about vivaldi as a whole by now. this is the bread and butter for a decent browser and the regression is known for many snapshots now. i have no idea how other ppl can do without…and i don't care. i for myself have my bookmarks organized (in folders) and it is a basic prerequisite to be able drag a new one quickly into the right place. vivaldi as replacement for opera 12? give me a break.
-
Some things I'd like to see:
1. DL speed in Downloads panel
2. Prevent autofill in address bar from picking up URLs from history (makes it really useless when I have to type the full URL anyway)
3. Ability to delete previously entered entries in fields. (I guess that's what it's called) -
I'm posting this using Firefox, rather than Vivaldi, because you broke Vivaldi for my system at work. Got the update notice at home. Installed. At work "apt-get" was saying "kept back," so I purged the "-beta" left-overs, removed "-stable" and tried to reinstall. Won't reinstall because it needs "libstdc++6 (>= 4.8.0)", but my Linux Mint MATE 13 (Maya) system has v4.6.3.
So: No more Vivaldi eval for me, I guess.

Thanks for new tab options!
All i want now is this 4 things:
1. better speed of opening new window (like when i open new tab)
2. more reliable session manager (which can remember my windows order and position and which opens in new windows if i have more than 1 window in session),
3. close tabs to the right option.
4. ability to assign ctrl+numbers shortcuts to my speed dial tiles.
Vivaldi is best browser for me since Opera 12. Thanks a lot.
