Snapshot 1.1.453.43 - Vivaldi 1.1RC2
-
I made Ctrl+PgUp/PgDown to switch between tabs, but it's page upping and page downing the current tab too.
-
RC2 and no private tabs? Surely you will have private tabs before final release right?
Otter browser has had this for ages now! -
What about x64? Is it stable or not? Please clarify that. Will 1.1 be the first with separate installers? What should we do?
-
When I watch a video in facebook, twitter, vine, etc., it always blinked. no matter x64, x86 version, I use windows 10 x64 OS.
-
There is private window, if you really are in need.
-
Thank you for the quick fix to keyboard shortcuts (VB-16438). Works great now on Win 7 (x64 version).
-
Well, other browsers exist for ages now, to be fair…

Yes, sorryaboutthat, ruario, I meant spatial navigation in Vivaldi. I have been using and switching between too many browsers for my own peace of mind but kay_D has described the problem while I was sleeping. Dovelove ditto'd ( Steffie) the problem but it is still early morning here, let me get my Vivaldi Troubleshooting Hat and a cup of coffee.
(sip) Ah! Better!
Okay, there is also a problem with the spatial navigation feature selecting hidden/invisible elements on a page or selecting elements that are behind a drop-down box. Here is one example from the Notifications dropdown over a Vivaldi.net Forum message:-

If the image link doesn't work: the screencap shows that the orange carrot for caret/spat-nav browsing has selected the 'New Topic' button behind the 'Notifications' dropdown.

Incorrect displaying while scrolling: http://ria.ru/infografika/20160425/1054997772.html
And sometimes blinking pages on Ubuntu 15.10 x64 -
For PDF and a few other files I spent some time looking for a way to change the default Vivaldi and Chrome MIME types but the feature has been disabled so it was like just going through the motions without saying anything.

I'm in France but using the default settings which I think are international (for ex. Google search URL is https://www.google.com/search?q=%s).
As I already said in the comments of several of the past builds (), search suggestions do not work whatever the selected engine. And I already tried resetting them, checking/un-checking/re-checking the "Search suggestions" checkbox, and restarting (or not) the browser after changing the option. I also uninstalled/reinstalled Vivaldi removing my user profile, and cleaned any folder that may still contain traces of the previous install. Using the 32 bits version of Vivaldi, on Windows 7 (64 bits). -
I can't give you a date, but I can assure you that it is being worked on actively.
-
Sajadi, I just found this extension that I thought you would like, btw. It allows you to select hyperlink text like in O12. https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/select-like-a-boss/mnbiiidkialopoakajjpeghipbpljffi?hl=en

Windows 10 64-bit, Vivaldi v1.1.453.43, Flash Player v21.0.0.213.
All videos have this problem. In Opera, Firefox and Edge, the Facebook videos buffering is fast.
I will make a GIF with the comparison between these browsers later. -
Windows 10 x64 using Vivaldi x86. Most videos on FB are working now, but it was only one or two, so it was strange. I can't seem to find the videos though, sorry. I wish I had saved them for you.
-
Just open a new tab on start-up, should refresh them all again. I had this problem on a few builds back, but opening a tab helps.

Thanks for pointing me to this post. Although this doesn't exactly fixes my problem i at least found a way to work around it by disabling the gpu hardware acceleration. This way i at least can still use Vivaldi while having G-Sync activated.
