I can't see any blue pen… maybe it's due to my appearence settings.
Anyway my problem is solved now and I can continue my moving from Opera.Thank you!

Speaking of MAJOR ISSUES - here's a list of snapshots that don't work on a touch screen (touch events are not recognized on web pages, the browser's UI is fine though):

• 1.1.453.43Looking at this list, I have a feeling that soon I'll be adding "Vivaldi 1.1" (whatever snapshot version it'll be) to this list as well. In the meantime, I'm using Vivaldi as the main browser on my tablet and I'm stuck with v.1.0.418.3, as this was the last version that had a full support for touch gestures. I don't know whether it's a chromium issue or there's just something wrong with Vivaldi itself, but all I do now is I download every snapshot that you release, find out it's broken too and go back to the last working one.
I reported the issue (VB-15433) few weeks ago, but there's no confirmation whether you're working on it, or you don't have time for this, or you don't care, or whatever… -
Something like that should be quite simple for the developers, but your reasons seem odd… :shock: (though you have my support on this)

In the bookmarks panel at the side of the browser (NOT the bookmarks manager, but the bookmark PANEL), There is a search bar at the top and right under it is a bar with a "+" sign, a new-folder sign, a "-" sign, and a little picture of a pencil (or pen). When you select a folder or a bookmark with a single click, you can then click on the editing pencil, which makes it turn blue, go down to the selected bookmark and edit whatever field you want, and then go click on the pencil again (which turns it back black) and then go on to whatever other item you want to edit. The same thing happens in the panel if you right-click a folder or bookmark and select "edit" from the context menu. It turns the pencil blue, you can edit the item, and to save your edits and turn off editing, you click the pencil again to turn it black.

The line height of items the 'typed-in history' in the address bar is less than the line height of bookmarks in the side panel and looks better. Could you please change the line height of the bookmarks in the panel to match? A consistent appearance would be so nice. Thank you.

No Check-For-Updates popup. When selecting "Vivaldi" > "Check for Updates . . . ", no popup shows up. I posted this problem several times but the only response I've gotten is that nobody else has had this problem.
Now, I started to see a pattern. When I install a new snapshot, checking for updates works. But, when a new snapshot comes out, it stops working! Not 100% of the times, but quite often that is the case. Is this a problem on the part of the server that provides updates?
It could be a problem on my network, but the same phenomenon happens both at home and at work.

I completely agree. It was working, and then it broke. And with no sync, it would be handy to have. It has been mentioned a LOT.

which region and what search engine and did you try resetting search engines in settings first?

did you see these even with minimal tabs? What sites do you have open in your tabs? Has this always been an issue for you or did it start recently? If recent, when did you start noticing this behavior?
