What have you done with favicons in private window?

Could we have a setting to disable the auto-dropdown on the address bar? In Opera 12, the setting was called "Auto dropdown" and disabling it disabled listing history and bookmarks below the address bar every time you typed.

I disagree that Vivaldi's current way of handling speed dial is horrible — it's actually quite simple and flexible. Go to the site, zoom to get a picture that you like, refresh the speed dial.
However, I would prefer an option to use my own custom images for speed dial as I do in Opera 12.17.

What is bothering me: When I have a tab open for WhatsappWeb (which is, luckily enough, working well by now), then this seems to use an audio device. At least, when I examine it with "powercfg -request" at the command line prompt, then it says so, and this prevents the pc from hibernating after a certain time.

I think we are so used to the "take it or leave it" mentality of other browsers that we not always remember why Vivaldi is the better solution

I can't confirm. My images will stay centered when zoomed.

I would like that, have been requesting it myself too, the sites i have on my SD are very hard to distinguish from each others, having it "Opera like" would make it a lot easier with different colored tiles.
And of course, as always, this should be very much optional. -
Hm - not sure. The download itself is fast and works just fine, if I download manually it never gave me problems and it's also curious that it always breaks up around the 30+ MB mark…

To avoid a full manual download you can close the failure dialog and click
V > Help > check for updates
and confirm the install dialog when it pops up again.
That should resume the broken download despite it does not look like that on a first glance. -

Sometimes I have that problem too and to me it looks like a problem with cloudflare: It almost reliably breaks if I get a certain cloudflare node on the route …

Temporarily removed because they caused an issue where the private window was not as private as it should be. Nothing too serious because you had to have local access and dig really deep into the files to find traces - but still an issue.

When i open New Window from existing window no problem but, when i close first window EXTENSIONS NOT WORKING anymore.

Sorry about that! We've been testing this issue internally and couldn't reproduce it. Which operating system version do you use?
