Snapshot 1.0.429.5 - A fix for videos causing freezes and a new option for tab switching
-
nice feature, time will tell if ill use it much
-
Thank you for your work as always. I like Click Active Tab to Switch to Previous Tab. Its one click is simple and works well for me as someone with a disability. Each time I find features I can use easily I am happy. (Such isn't always the case with new technology.) Best regards Vivaldi team.

matmur, regarding VB-14045 Passwords visible in the settings should be "**************"
What do you mean? Password nor its length should not be shown. -
umm i just realised everything is opening in new tabs with left clicks
-
nevermind found the setting, why did this become default behaviour

FWIW, the update downloading created an error message and halted at ~ 31.8 MB. Re-starting the update again immediately picked up where the first attempt failed, and the update then went in fine. This is the third straight version to exhibit this identical update hiccup at almost the same download point, either in size or download time. Location: Midwest USA, Vivaldi 32-bit standalone on a Win7-64 SP1 system. :?:

It should have a quick way to delete a suggested account name (e.g., email in Facebook) at login. The other browsers have a delete button. It's an essential security feature–what if you mistakenly put your password in the account name-username textbox?
-
Pretty cool!
Please implement Close Tab and go to Right ASAP… it's starting to get on my nerves.
-
Yeah, they changed it some builds ago. I have the same issue and it's super annoying, but they confirmed they will bring back this behaviour.

wojcieche – Passwords should be hidden. Add button "Show / Hide password".
-
Passwords are hidden. You see only logins. It should not be possible to view passwords in a browser due to privacy/security reasons.
-
Same thing in western US. Seems their server timeout is a bit too short.
-
This is true. It's better than it was some months ago, but still unreliable. If you slide the cursor onto a tab from the side, the "X" often does not appear. If you slide from the top or bottom, it usually does. It seems there ought to be a way for the "X" to be reliably visible any and every time the cursor is hovering a tab, irrespective of how it got there. It strikes me, a non-coder, as being something that should be easy, even trivial, to code. But perhaps I'm wrong.
-
aaaAAAAA YES thank you so much! I can finally go back to legitimately beta testing and using Vivaldi near full time yaaaaaaay!!!
-
- still require right click context menu for bookmarks/folders inside bookmark bars folders
-
Hah. Reminds me. I was using Vivaldi to stream music from Google Music few weeks ago and it kept playing the same song again and again.
-
Activating the tab to the right when closing a tab will be added as an option, but I cannot say when. Probably not for 1.0.
-
Bring back what? The old behavior are available as options.
-
I shall treasure minimized tabs! thank you, Vivaldi!
I hope, when the stable version comes out, somebody will make a Opera Presto skin for it!
