Snapshot 1.0.420.4 - Search suggestions and further bug fixing
-
Just had to cope with critical W8.1 update interfering w loading WP X6, so although I usually jump in straight away with every new snapshot, having read the above I think I’ll give this one a miss!
-
Casting videos is the only method supported so far.
-
I can confirm, this build is completely broken, I can't browse, everything is extremely slow, pages crash constantly, etc.
I'm Windows 10 using 32 bits build.
Going back to Beta.
-
I'm using W10 (64bits) and Vivaldi feels slower that the last snapshot.
-
I just did.
Very very slow, i needed about 3 mins to fill report, letters are late after typing, and even scrolling is very bad.
I have to revert to beta till fix, thx. -

Anyone else having trouble with Netflix? Tells me to install Silverlight. Works fine with Chrome. Win 10 64bit
-
Yes, same trouble with Netflix here, also on Win 10 64bit
-
Can you somehow use Cisco video decoder? Firefox is the only browser that plays videos on Youtube smoothly and instantly. The video is the top priority in Firefox. And it makes sense.
-
same here on Win7 32bits. even after a full system restart very sluggish behaviour. Like others I'll do a downgrade
-
Getting lots of 'dead birds' with this version, which is totally new to me. Scrolling is also quite jumpy and not very responsive.
-
this one must be fixed ASAP
-
My Bitdefender antivirus is always deleting the installer (windows 32 bit): infected: Gen.Variant:symmi.31976. For sure a false positive…but tell them...
-
Thanks for the new snapshot with the YouTube fix!
But I noticed a big slowdown with your last 2 snapshots (including this one). Even the startup improvements you introduced with build 1.0.403.15 is kinda gone now especially on Mac.

Chromium 49! Oh boy! (/Quantum Leap)
Scrolling through Bookmarks on the internal Bookmark page – not the Panel -- with the mouse wheel has made the UI crash several times now and it doesn't even give me the bird.
Since there were (are) still several Vivaldi processes still running I figured, "What the heck, I'll see if it will work!" so I clicked the shortcut to Vivaldi and the UI came right back up. Yes!
And a few beats later another Vivaldi window opened with just the Speed Dial Tab.
I guess it was recovering/remembering that I had the Bookmark page open.Edit: Clicking the sidebar Panel toggle made the UI crash again. Relaunch put me right back in place, followed by the new Vivaldi Speed Dial window echo.
Edit-edit: The LastPass button works with the browser now so the LastPass pages in the chrome-extension://hokiedokie…/somefeature.html tab are live instead of blank.

jepp, extremly slow scrolling and facebooks videos stutter. (Win 7 64bit, Vivalidi 32bit)
-
uBlock Origin 1.6.4 was not happy about this.
-
I guess I'll be the one person in Win10 (though it's build 14279) who can't find a browsing or slowness problem in this build. Maybe it depends on the site? Maybe it's the build of Windows? The video (Nvidia)?

There's a 1px line below my titlebar with this build.
