Thanks for fantastic browser. Suggestion: Because Pesticide CSS Debugger doesn't stay on after page refresh, please bring back the old 'Outlines' filter in Page actions menu. Pesticide debugger is nice and might be useful if there will be some button (not checkbox) to activate it. Now after page refresh CSS pesticide debugger is OFF and I have to click Page actions menu, uncheck CSS Debugger option (because it stays checked) and then check it again to turn debugger back ON.
Keep up the good work! -
I mean a portable version that i can use on my usb-drive, yes
and no, its not possible in that way its now (if you mean official standalone installation)
"A portable application does not leave its files or settings on the host computer or modify the existing system and its configuration" - and standalone cant provide that
also when i installed viv on pc with win7 x64 and moved to pc with win xp x86 when i run viv all extensions are gone (as some settings)
so standalone viv install has no any relation to portable windows application
p.s. sorry for my english -
This would be great: drag and drop words (like username and password from Keepass) into formular fields on websites.
Linux: Ubuntu MATE 15.04 -
I can't tell if this works for all extensions but this is the way I use the standalone version on my pc at work (where I barely have the rights to open the explorer and copy files):
- I download Viv setup
- Install standalone directly on usb-drive (I know the speed sucks but installing on my pc and than copy on usb-drive results in a lot of crashes and weird stuff for me)
- Close all other Viv instances and start Viv from usb-drive
- Change settings as you like and add extensions of choice (as already said I don't know if this works with every extension but "µblock origin" worked fine so far)
- Go to work and copy the viv folder from usb-drive to shitty workstation and be the only one in the whole office with a usable browser (especially because I am the only one with an addblocker ^^)
This is how this works for me and I do this for every new snapshot because I don't even have the rights to update anything while I am at my work-pc. (On the pro-site I can do my favourite Viv-settings blindfolded^^)
Is this what you wanted to know or did I get you completely wrong?
p.s.: the thing with the "moved from X64 to X86" might be because the extensions aren't compatible?

Any news about the look? For me its unusable or should i say ugly so i dont use it.
Dont get me wrong guys, i love what you are doing and thank you for your hard work!!
I just cant stand this ugly, boring, unimaginative, flat, wannabe modern, herd mentality, space wasting look!

Yes, can confirm almost on Ubuntu 15.10 with vivaldi beta 3. But at me it happens only one time. And with your links not at all.
-
I'm not seeing this behaviour. Tried to replicate it on Win10 as well as Mint17.3 (both with beta3) but did not see this problem.
-
I'm loving this beta. Love to see some performance tweaks but overall it's set as default now for me on both my main systems.

I can search by ctrl+enter when Vivaldi trapped by this bug.

The last few pixels on the right side of the vertical scrollbar are, just like in previous beta, not responsive to clicks

I just realized that since Beta 3, when you click open on a bookmark folder it only open the first 20 items
