Snapshot 1.0.380.2 - Bug fixes and new Settings

"Clear browser cache" solved the problem for me… it's working fine now
Windows 10 64bit , Vivaldi 64bit -
Great! Additionally, it'd be neat to have zoom in web panels as well.

We are adding direct access to the history in current internal builds. From Tools menu and with a default shortcut. Did not make it into this snapshot. A history panel is nice as well, but that is a bit further away.

I'm seeing the same problem, also on OS X 10.9.5

Getting an Adobe Flash player is out of date notification since the last update
Fixed by downloading and installing Adobe FP20 for Opera and Chromium PPAPI
http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/otherversions/(don't forget to untick the mcafee optional offer thing (unless you want it))
Restart Vivaldi after installation

I'd like to see session manager, like in O12. Great feature which I miss very much
-
I had this too - after a bit of searching, I downloaded the update from https://fpdownload.adobe.com/pub/flashplayer/latest/help/install_flash_player_ppapi.exe
I had to uninstall the previous version and then restart Vivaldi. -
Should have said this is WIn10 64 bit

It should be called "remove from memory" or "discard from memory" or something like that, then. Makes it much more clearer.
It's an interesting feature, although i don't know how many people will actually use it. I'd rather like to see a "Close all tabs" option added to the tab context menu instead. -
doesn't work very good
I saved around 20 MB on tabs that consumed 70-100MB
+
this could/should be automated process , without user interactionEDIT:
actually, after a while, tab was removed from task manager completely releasing memory (I guess)
But activating that tab, forced reloading of the page… which is solution similar to extensions for that job
Opera tab hibernation was almost pefect
tab consumption couple of MB… no reloading, refreshing, freezing...
why they ditch that ... it's a mystery to me
it was killer feature
if you could mix something like that as browser vendor... big plus -
I am using RHEL 6.6 at work, and we have Clam antivirus installed. Clam reports the following error with Vivaldi after every scan: "/opt/vivaldi-snapshot/resources/vivaldi/bundle.js: Html.Exploit.CVE_2014_4138 FOUND".
I will probably report this to the Clam community as well.

I just thought of another feature in Opera (12) I used on a daily basis: Follower tabs.
Links clicked in the main tab are all opened in the follower tab instead of opening in a new one.Vivaldi could even improve over this with the tiled tabs feature, something I'm not sure is/was possible in Opera.
(I'd request this as a feature, but not a clue where to find that page)

Hmm, it looks like something is wrong in the "Color Active Tab" function. Very often it will use the icon color from the page which was loaded before to color the current tab (but not always).
Examples here - tab color does not match any of the icon colors:

Normally you could disable the 'x'-button on tabs in the options (options -> Tabs -> Tab display (or similar) -> show close-button. Sadly this setting is ignored in the current snapshot…

Tabs
-Make an option for a second row of Tabs for easier management of multiple tabs;Please, oh, please!
(Nice work BTW)
-
BUG: In Netflix, with the new background colouring option enabled, the tab sound icon shows up in white, making it practically impossible to see.

Performance
-Vivaldi still uses a lot of CPU, sometimes even mundane tasks can use 100% from time to time;
-Before running Vivaldi, CPU usage is at 1%. After opening and closing Vivaldi (all Vivaldi processes terminated), CPU usage stays at 20% or more, no programs running - only happens with Vivaldi;
-Memory usage skyrockets upon start; Vivaldi still consumes most of the memory available, not allowing programs on the background to run, unless you are fine with a sluggish PC;
-UI still sluggish in some instances, taking too long to open new tabs or accept new commands;This is a BIG problem for me also… I've come to the conclusion I'll never be able to use Vivaldi, because it seems so embedded with the chrome engine. I can't even last long enough to test it without having to close many programs that I am working with. With FF I always have 2.5Gig left no matter how much I have going on....eventually with Vivaldi I go to 50 Meg with almost everything closed.
Seems to do somewhat well until a streaming Flash loads, Flash just gobbles everything up FAST.
I have trouble with it releasing all memory after closing also. It has been a HUGE problem that I and others have had for a LONG time, it is a LARGE issue that I am sure is very complicated but needs to be solved, it can't be done without feedback.

Win 7 64 Bit 8Gig Ram 32 Vivaldi
When I can switch over it would be nice to have sessions save.
Thanks

OSX: Using Shortcuts involving Ctrl does not has an effect. E.g. Ctrl+Shift+E should open the extension manager. But besides highlighting the menu item, nothing happens. Is this already known?
