Yes his blog clearly OTT self-aggrandises, but afaik, cringing immodesty aside, it is justified. Lunduke really did/does have a high profile in the tech journo / geekiverse, & really did single-handedly elevate openSUSE's profile in the Linux & Corporate worlds. As one commenter also remarked, i always wondered why he seemed to "suddenly" depart.
Now for my customary angering of peeps. None of that shit would have occurred, could have occurred, if humans had managed to evolve "better", such that merely intelligence, decency, science & morality were sufficient, without any need to credulously rely on juvenile fairy-tales. I trust that in one of the other parallel universes, there is such a species. I suppose all their prejudices & hatreds stem from whether purple is better than chartreuse.
