Vivaldi Cannot Play Google Play Music
-
I've downloaded Vivaldi literally since the first week it was out. Google Play music is still non-functional. I have to use a different browser or an outside app to use google music.

I have Google Play Music playing right now. I am on Linux though, so it would be great if someone on Windows could confirm that it isn't working. However, I know I have had Google Play Music playing on Windows machines around the office, and I know we would be using Vivaldi

It definitely isn't working for me on Windows 10. There are a few other threads around reporting the problem. I've stopped using Vivaldi because of this issue. (I keep trying new versions to see if its been fixed)

I can confirm using Windows 8.1 I am also unable to play Google Music.

Windows 10, Vivaldi 1.3.537.5, Google Play music works just fine for me.
I also have the Play Midnight for Google Play Music extension installed.

I can help here. Google Music still runs on flash. You do a few things. You can run the same "version" of Vivaldi (32 or 64 bit) as your Current Chrome browser so that Vivaldi can accesses chromes version of native flash. That worked for me. Alternately you could install a full external system wide flash (yuck).
OR, you could wait for the incoming HTML5 version of google music that is coming our very soon. Google announced that html5 google music is rolling out to dev channels now, so it wont be long.
Hope this helps. -
Three and a half years later, and the Google Music issue is still around.....?
Really?
Is there a fix for this?
Thanks. -
