Solved Home button is gone?

The home button needs to come back ASAP, and then you should make the entire bar customizable. I don't need the "privacy" button there, and I prefer the icons to the left.
Do people really use the "shield" button on a daily basis? I use it max once a week, while the home button is used at least 10x daily.
Does anyone know how to get the old version?
Agree 100%. Put the shield options in the menu accessed by clicking just left of the URL. I'd actually prefer the home button to be where the shield button is now as it would be much easier to access with my thumb than all the way to the left.

this is indeed unfortunate. now the quickest is two clicks away instead of 1 to access speed dial

@Maxrunner actually it's there in wider screen. When I rotate my screen, it show up. But yeah, bad design ... sigh

This is the worst decision ever. Who would ever come up with ther insane idea to remove the Home button? What's the harm there by keeping the Home button? Just for rearanging the address bar? How hard could that be? Really, every other browser that I'm familiar with, contains a Home button. I just don't get it; Vivaldi should reconcider this awful dicision!

Hi, I guess you use address bar at bottom, there is a new setting: Show Startpage Icon in Address Bar.
With default settings the Home button is in the address bar anyway.Cheers, mib

I'm sorry man, could you please be a little more specific for me (as in where to find it and/or what to do)? I've searched the menu a thousand times already, before posting my "cry for help" here on our forum... So apparently I'm missing this...

My address bar is at the top. I've looked for the new setting you are talking about, but I couldn't find this setting possibillity anywhere or where to activate this at all.
Also, I wanted to check if I'm using the latest Vivaldi version. As I remember I could find the update possibillity from the rolldown menu when clicking the "V" in the top left corner. Now, this option seems to be gone as well. (??)
BTW, does this Startpage Icon just activate the Vivaldi startpage, or would this be the startpage of my choosing? Naturally, I prefer the latter.
