Feature requests
-
There are two features that I would like to see in Vivaldi that are already in many other browsers 1) Option to open address bar urls in a new tab 2) Option to open search results in a new tab Without these option is makes my use of Vivaldi a bit of a pain at times.

1. Alt + Enter will do that (at least in the latest 1.3 Snapshot
2. Alt + Enter also works for <nickname><search string="">in the URL field. I never use the Search field on the address bar, but Alt + Enter also works there now.To search Wikipedia for "Vivaldi" in a new tab, for example, type "w vivaldi" in the URL field and press Alt + Enter.</search></nickname>

Thanks. I still would like these features to be an option as Alt Enter does not open a new tab from the url bar if the address is auto completed from history or bookmarks.

It does for me.
Scroll down to the URL that you want to open with the down cursor, and press Alt + Enter
It can also be set as the default behaviour if you use the Quick Command dialgoue (shortct F2)

As far as the url opening in a new tab with Alt Enter, it works if you scroll with the keyboard. It doesn't work if the mouse is used. Thanks for the help.

If we are talking about feature requests I have some:
- Allow all extensions from chrome to work in vivaldi. (I'm having issues with even "LastPass" logging in correctly on vivaldi)
- Allow the "Auto-download / Auto-Open" of configured file types. (THIS IS A BIG ONE)
- Add the plug-in needed to have "VideoStream for google chromecast" work on vivaldi. (This extension is the only reason I'm keeping chrome installed on my hdd)
Thanks!
