My friend's computer desktop is very clean.
-
Today I went to my friend's house to play. We played for a while, and then he started discussing an open-source project on GitHub with me. Suddenly, I noticed that his computer desktop was very clean, which made me think that it wasn't a Windows system desktop. With his permission, I used the system's built-in screenshot tool to take a screenshot of his computer desktop. (The image below is his computer desktop. ↓)
(Actually, this should not be described as "clean", but rather "beautiful". I think he may have used Wallpaper Engine.) -
Perhaps had hidden the desktop icons with Win+D → Shift+F10 → context menu: View → Show desktop icons
-
@DoctorG I tried, but there is nothing. (。^▽^)

@MaxLHy, my desktop is also completly clean, not even the Recycle bin, which I anyway never use. Because I hate desktops full of Icons, they are useless, because are always covered by the windows of the open apps, which avoid an easy access.
The apps which I most use are in the Taskbar (autohide) and so I can access them anytime with a shortcut (Winkey+ the number in which position is the app on the taskbar)
My current Desktop (in Vivaldi automaticly the same wallpaper)

@Catweazle
I guess you would get a heart attack on my girlfriends:@MaxLHy
I can remove it if you want, could not resist. -

It is not really the desktop of my girlfriend but I saw such desktops hundreds of times during my work.
How can people work so, I never understood this.
However, the real desk usually looked exactly like this. -
@mib3berlin Ah?
-
@mib3berlin I don't have any girlfriends. ≡(▔﹏▔)≡

@MaxLHy
Friends of all kinds are welcome, so welcome to the forum.Cheers, mib

OMG! No offense, but it looks a bit maniacal to me. Perhaps I have these thoughts because of my ex, who was obsessed with cleaning. But I guess your friend just enjoys the background. My screen is so messed up, and I can't find a spare minute to clean it.

@SereneSorcerer, it cost a click. Right click on the desktop. In the context menu > View > Unmark "Show Desktop Icons". Done, clean desktop
-
I saw your menu is in Spanish, am I right? I'm curious: where are you coming from?
BTW, thanks for the tips. But I prefer to have it messy -
ugh, those three desktop pics above.
nobody
has commented on their most egregious sin of all... -
@ybjrepnfr What - using X?
-
@SereneSorcerer, I'm from Spain.
Well, for a messy desktop you only need the right wallpaper, because you anyway can't access the icons with an open app window

There are some images that fill a person with a deep terror. Among them is this one. I fear that not even the wizard can save you now. Best of luck.
