just for the record, there is a significant difference between pt-BR and pt-PT.

Is there still,though? Didn't the last orthographic deal made all the same? (Even if not spoken the same, the words are now all written equally, no?)

the accent and grammar are quite different. they use of many words that have different meanings.
brasil is the only former colony of portugal who developed its own way of speaking and writing portuguese unlike all the others former colony. -
I don't know what is wrong, but I can't activate the Portuguese (Portugal) spellcheck

It seems to be working for me. Try deleting and adding the language again.

Hello,
We have a problem. The Portuguese Language Orthographic Agreement of 1990 is in force in Portugal and Brazil since may 13 2015. Vivaldi language settings provide spell checking for European Portuguese (pt-PT) and Brazilian Portuguese (pt-BR) based on the old vocabulary (before the Agreement). That makes the Spell Checker invalid for students, professionals and population in general. Is there any workaround or plugin to apply the Portuguese Language Orthographic Agreement (Português com Acordo Ortográfico) as we can do with Firefox (see screenshot appended)?
