Yeah, exactly, iDRAC8 works fine. I was asked by email about more details with that bug by Vivaldi team few days ago. I provided more details them.

I have no such deep knowledge how to analyse the network connection issue with websockets over VNC.

It is so disappointing to pro users that Edge and Firefox works, but Vivaldi fails.

Same issue here. This issue came with idrac firmware 6.10. I try to debug, but don't know how to find the problem. My guess is that ws doesn't get the parameters.

Updated to the latest iDRAC 9 firmware 6.X and latest vivaldi patch. Issue remains, latest firefox still works and vivaldi still does not. (just as an FYI)

@enc0re @detrich @lyooth Had you tested with a new test profile (no Vivaldi Blocker, no extensions, no settings; just close welcome page) and install only extension needed to operate iDRAC.
Perhaps it is a profile issue.

And can you give the correct iDRAC firmware version number? I want to update the bug report.

@DoctorG I tested in incognito, I cant test in guest profile, since the iDRAC console is a popup window, which are blocked by default and I cannot change settings in guest profiles. In incognito, I made sure that every addon is disabled(incl vivaldi tracker blocker). The iDRAC FW is: "6.10.30.20, A00". Addons that I use normally are: adguard and darkreader. I did also try reinstalling and wiping settings to default.

Thanks, I will add the version to bug report. So a internal Vivaldi server admin can check.

I tested also newest snapshot v6.4.3149.7

iDRAC is v6.10.80.00

I would say profile is 100% not an issue. Fresh install of Vivaldi. And as I mentioned, unfortunately I can't test without proxy extension. This is the only modification of default installation. No sync, no other settings changes made.

But as i interprete @lyooth post, it is not a proxy/extension issue, they do not use extension only VPN.

I installed a fresh virtual machine with Ubuntu 22.04LTS desktop, latest snapshot with no accounts or settings changed, just "next, next, install". So everything was stock/default. No luck with iDRAC version: "6.10.80.00".

@enc0re @lyooth I tried to ping Vivaldi server admin again to test the Dell servers and other from dev team to check. I hope they will react.

@lyooth Unfortunately Vivaldi server team has not such 6.10 firmware.

Would you be so kind to open a iDRAC console, open developer tools with F12, select Console tab, hover the red errors and context menu "Save as"? That log would help Vivaldi devs to check the issue.
