To wait indefinitely or not to wait that is the question?

If there is a problem in Vivaldi, then it's up to you to follow one of the following options:
1.- Wait for Vivaldi to fix this function, and live complaining about the unpleasant situation. (of course after having gone through the usual channels to make the problem visible)
2.- Or look for an alternative way out in the meantime and live happily without the problem. (and note that the main purpose of this forum is to provide alternative routes)
What kind of person are you? number one or two? I would like to know.

@barbudo2005 Is 3. Both an alternative?
I like to find and report bugs, wait patiently for a fix and in the meantime try to find workarounds to the problem.
And sometimes I complain. But I try to do it politely and not too often

@barbudo2005 2.1) Uninstall Vivaldi and find a browser that just works. As it is written here competing (and more competent) browsers are many. So, too, many solutions to the problem.
-
Both is of course an alternative and is implicit in the number 2 in the words " ... in the meantime…."
-
@barbudo2005 Neither. I don't complain (though I may confirm something reported by a user) and I rarely, if ever, employ workarounds. I tend to use the browser just how it is built, and file formal reports for bugs or missing features.
-
Luckily, often there aren't severe issues on my side. True, there are few annoyances, but usually are workaroundable.
Cherry picking (avoiding builds with known issues) and keeping a good hygiene on the profile helps a lot.
And not overboarding on experiments, flags, extensions or apps, avoiding 3rd party tools if possible. -

"Just Works" might already be trademarked! But -speaking for myself- a browser all of whose features "just work" flawlessly (throughout many releases) is not to be expected... There will be problems.
That is, unless of course one can tolerate a bare-bones browser. (Renders most sites most of the time; and maybe only a hand-full at a time — I still remember when tabbed browsing was an innovation!)I find the richness of customizations available in Vivaldi to be almost addictive: When I have to use another browser (sometimes my Mac insists on Safari...) I feel...well, not really like a fish out of water. But certainly like a dolphin forced to stay under for too long!
About waiting patiently, that's a given! (I recently saw someone carp "if they'd let me have their source code, I'd fix it in a week or two"... I personally own no such pretension! ) And there's no substitute for manners, is there?

@barbudo2005 Both.
I sometimes use Chromium for Windows if a page or Developer Tools do not work with Vivaldi.
