Thumbnails for Bookmarks and SpeedDial
-
Hi there, I switch from Opera after hearing the news that Opera will be acquired by Chinese company
You guys made an wonderful browser. But the most favorite things I missed from Opera is the thumbnails for bookmarks and speedDial. I think it's more clear when you show the thumbnail for bookmark and speed dial as Opera. Thumbnail with Image or website name in a big font with different color is more easy to find and remember than a list of small text. I have a hundread bookmarks and it's very hard to find a old bookmark from your list of bookmark. Anyway, love Vivaldi

You can improve the thumbnail by zooming in on the site, adjusting your page position to one you like, and then refreshing the Speed Dial thumbnail.

Thanks for your reply.
So that I can modify the SpeedDial's thumb manually. But with some pages which content is most of text such as Wikipedia, it doesn't make the thumbnail more clear. Or some pages which have dynamic content as TweetDeck, the thumbnail is just a blank screen.
And with the bookmarks, I still prefer a thumbnail image for better visualization and recognization.
Thank you -
In that case, you don't mean thumbnail, right? Your mean Icon or Favicon. The ability to select these for speed dial tiles is not yet an option.

Thank youFor now, You can either, manually edit the thumbnails see the (tips and tricks thread), or install an alternate speed dial like FVD speed dial

FYI... I came over from Opera for exactly the same reason. Poured a beer and got used to a 'Bookmark Bar'.... which I never used in Opera.....
