file dialog dark theme

Greetings,
Can someone tell me how to make my file dialog box dark theme like it use to be. I don't know what has turned it light but it's driving me crazy seeing that everything else I use is on dark theme.
The browser itself is dark, all my linux apps are dark, my desktop is dark but whenever I open up a Vivaldi file dialog it pops up light.
My VIvaldi gtk settings are set for classic. I don't know what else to do.

@iomari Have dark UI in Linux; in Vivaldi open chrome://settings/appearance ; cick on GTK in this setting page, restart.
And you need gtk2-engines* packages.

My KDE uses Breze Dark, my Ubuntu a Dark theme and Mint MintYDark. All nice, file dialog is dark.

I do not know about your Vivaldi version, your Linux Desktop and Linux version.

Just installed gtk2-engines and restarted Vivaldi. Still no dark file dialog:

viavldi: 6.1.3035.111 (Stable channel) stable (64-bit)

@iomari I checked my Debian 12 KDE Plasma, i have breeze-gtk-theme installed, in Systemsettings > Appearance > Application style i have for GNOME/GTK style Breeze.

Operating System: Debian GNU/Linux 12

As I'm changing the system gtk themes, it reflects in the vivaldi right click menu but not in the file dialog box. What is going on?

@iomari Perhaps Kubuntu 23 is broken with GTK themes.

Don't recall seeing that but I'm not using containers on my laptop.

Remember it's only the Vivaldi file dialog that has this issue.

@iomari I see all browser's file dialogs on Ubuntu 23 have same wrong light appearance. Bad Ubuntu 23.

Ubuntu 22.04.2 LTS works nice.

I know why i do not use Ubuntus and install my work PCs with conservative Debian Linux.

You're right. Same issue on Opera. But it wasn't always like this. I just don't remember exactly when this started.

@iomari As i said, something Ubuntu 23 broke, 23 was not tested good enough.
