Solved Tab stacks shouldn't auto collapse
-
Hi, I use a vertical tab bar and have stab stacking as accordeon enabled:
I think the tab stacks should not be collapse when I navigate to a tab outside of the tab stack.
Also I think it would be nice to have some more visual distinction between stacks, like indentation like Orion Browser:
-
@kkraegel Then disable the Auto Expand option.

Thanks! This wording is strange however since expanding is the opposite of collapsing I thought it would only expand tab stacks that I manually collapsed.

Use the Windows Panel instead of the Tab Bar.

Wow, that's actually a good idea, just checked! Is there any option to replace the tab bar by the windows panel? I mean like it would need to be persistent.

@kkraegel Just hide the Tab Bar in Settings, Tabs.
Keep the Panel Toolbar enabled, and click the Window Panel icon or assign a shortcut to toggle the Windows Panel.
No doubt, there are a few things that you can do with tab bar that are not so convenient with the panel, but you can do the usual things, close, reorder, stack, reopen, etc.
