Solved Install extension without google account?
-
When I am directed to an extension page (so that I could install it "to Chrome"), at the top of the page there is a big bar "Sign in to Chrome" (with a google account). The "Add to chrome" button is not shown.
Question: Is it possible to install extensions in Vivaldi without a google account? The Team Vivaldi instructions for how to install chrome extensions don't mention anything about signing in to Chrome, they just instruct to click the button "Add to chrome". -

ticked in Settings → Privacy & Security → Privacy → Google Extensions? -

@LonM Thanks. Yes, I think it is an official extension. Not sure if it is a "paid extension", maybe it has some free features, but it requires a subscription for full features. Here's the link: Bitdefender password manager.
(Company policy to use a password manager that's on their approved list...)

@sade That?

@sade I can install that extension fine, I need to log in with a bitdefender account, but that would be expected for an online password manager. I'm not sure where the "sign in with chrome" is coming from.

@LonM strange... Here the webpage looks like this, and there is no Add to Chrome:

@hlehyaric Aha, thanks! That was the problem! I didn't know about that option. Now (after browser restart) the button "Add to chrome" is there. Problem solved!
