Wolfram|Alpha doesn't work as a search engine
-
When you add http://www.wolframalpha.com/ as a search engine and try to search it from the search box, it just redirects to the Wolfram|Alpha homepage. Firefox is able to use Wolfram|Alpha as a search engine, so it should be possible to add it here. It's the only engine I've tried to add, so I might be doing something wrong. Anybody have any suggestions?

Doesn't seem to work for me either ( using http://www.wolframalpha.com/?query=%s&equal=Submit ).
However, they do offer an extension (for chrome) which you could try:-

Hi,
I use these settings:
| URL | ```
https://www.wolframalpha.com/input/?i=%s| Description | ``` Wolfram|Alpha [HTTPS] ``` | | Nickname | ``` wa ``` | It works for me, so I hope it can help.

Thanks stealth789
The search URL has to be input manually (i.e. Not using Add as search engine), but that does work. -
