The translation button in the address bar show only for some pages. Does anybody know, why is this happening and whether it can be shown for all pages?

Hi, the webpage owner must provide the information in the page code, not all do this (correctly).
Open the Quickmenu with F2 and start typing "translate", choose translate page.
You can really do a lot in the Quickmenu, check F1.Cheers, mib

@Petr047 See Translate Web Pages.
Use the translate panel to translate selected text.
- Open the Panel
- Select the text on the page
The text will be automatically copied to the panel. Change the target language and click the translate button.

@Pesala I know about the translation panel and also about the possibility to translate selected text with a keyboard shortcut. None of these features fit my use case.
I just want to have two instances of one website as tiles next to each other and I want to have one of them translated. I can do this only with sites that offer me the translate button.
@mib2berlin Do you know what should be in the source code in order for the button to show up? It seems there's more to it than changing the html's lang attribute.

The translation panel is tiled beside your webpage (if you disable floating for that panel).
This page has no translation icon for me because it is using my default language. If I wish to translate it to another language, e.g. German, I just need to select the text, open the panel, and choose the language into which to translate it.
