btw, when people visit hot countrys, they learn 3 things
1, On hot days, people tend to drink sweet things.
2, Melting point of homo sapiens is 36°C.
3, If you don't put the butter in the fridge, butter melts completely.

For a long time I've been thinking that "fridge" or "refrigerator"...is a strange word.
"refrigerator" is a "Re-Friet-Generator"?　
Why can't we say "foods cooler? or "cool depot".

@shifte I've been calling it fridge for years.

Back around 100 years ago, some called it an ice box, as the models in use back then, were kept cold with large blocks of ice that were delivered to customers' homes.

My late grandfather's home was built around 1900 and there was actually a walk-in...ice box built into the cellar. It took up just under half of the cellar floor space. I recall it had several shelves inside and there was a short sectioned-off area in it with six-inch high (15.24 cm) walls around it, with a drain, where the blocks of ice were placed, keeping that room cold.
