Flash plugin not recognized

Vivaldi://plugins shows the PPAPI-Flash-Plugin from Chrome, but sites with Flash show that it cannot be loaded. Is there a way to fix this? Everything runs in 64bit on my machine.

What do you mean with "from chrome"?

Did you download the flash player for "opera and Chromium" or you downloaded just chrome?

I downloaded just Chrome and the plugin page of Vivaldi shows the PPAPI-Flash in the Chrome installation folder. Vivaldi was able to use that Flash installation before, so I don't know why that doesn't work anymore.

That's a novelty for me.

Chrome flash works just in chrome.

For chromium/vivaldi/opera/iron and so on you need to download it from the adobe website (choose the one for chromuim/opera)

Yes, that one works.
I could have sworn it worked with Pepperflash before.

I was not mistaken, in my desktop version Vivaldi definitely works with Pepperflash. The Flash plugin points to the Chrome directory under vivaldi://plugins and I don't even have PPAPI-Flash installed.
