Solved Where is the Search field on iOS?
-
In Windows Vivaldi browser, Search is obvious at top left:
But where is it in Safari on iOS?
iPhone (choosing "Advanced web interface" makes no difference):
iPad without "Advanced web interface":
iPad with "Advanced web interface" (which cuts the width of actual content to less than half the screen and wastes the other half 99% of the time):
I'm primarily an iPhone user, and really miss being able to search! (Yes, I can search in the Mammoth app or several others, but often searching your own web instance shown different results... )
Could we please have the Search box on all those views? There is always plenty of vertical space.

@LorenAmelang, on smaller screens, go to the Explore page. The one with the # icon.

@jane-n Oh, that really is the same Search! I saw it, but right underneath Search it says "Posts, Hashtags, News, For You", and doesn't mention People unless you actually search and find some. And when I tried it nothing visible happened - my keyboard covers all the results! You have to tap Done or drag the screen up from behind it. Guess the devs don't use the little iPhone SE...
Still wish it was in all the regular places. Especially on iPad, where there is plenty of blank space.
