            [Sync] Synchronize custom bookmark thumbnail metadata (VB-93139)

            Interesting... 🤔

            "key": "Thumbnail",
            "value": "chrome://vivaldi-data/synced-store/RBWXH2PGIZF5MAOS54XNWFE26IHZEW6ECBJY6EUVRQ2MIOVVZK6A.17098"

              @Pathduck that was already in the previous snapshot’s changelog. I asked about it then. Not sure why it’s in today's changelog as well.

                @AltCode Hmm, guess I didn't notice it 🙂

                I guess it depends on if the content of synced-store is actually synced or just the metadata. Should be easy enough to test with another device though.

                    @Thot How do you reproduce this? Floating panel + pinned tabs?

                    Did it start in this Snapshot?
                    Are you using any mods?

                    I don't see how your image is possible, the panel will always be pinned to the left side.

                    Those look more like the default Wikipedia/Vivaldi web panels, not tabs.

                            @Ruarí I just can't reproduce it is all, on Win10 here.

                            Edit- oh now I see it - you need to toggle the panel bar while a while a panel is open.

                            Just goes to show how important it is to be specific and give details, not just assume posting a picture and everyone immediately understands where the problem might lie 😂

                                For the last 3 snapshots the windows panel width from prior session is lost if it was less than ~11 cm. If the panel width upon previous exit was greater than 11 cm, then that width is maintained upon reopening Vivaldi.

                                  address bar: Shift + Backspace still do not delete last character before caret like they should.

                                    @Beholder4096 It's Ctrl+Backspace

                                    Works for me:

                                    vivaldi_22-12-21-wM5cdoDrF1.gif

                                    AFAIK Shift+Backspace does nothing.

                                      @Ruarí When there are more panel items than the window size, you cannot use the scroll wheel to toggle the hidden items. And the scroll bars are no longer displayed on the edge of the panel

                                      Previous versions were able to do so

                                            @mtaki14 it's usually to go one directory back from the current url, without having to highlight the address field
                                            for example

                                            ctrl-backspace should go
                                            https://vivaldi.com/blog/desktop/
                                            and then to
                                            https://vivaldi.com/blog/
                                            and finally to
                                            https://vivaldi.com

                                            The same thing in Vivaldi can be obtained with a key+mouse combo, ctrl-mouse click on the desired subpath word
