Firefox (107.0.1) loads that web pretty quickly, but Vivaldi (5.5.2805.48) takes its time.
Both browsers are on the same PC, and I have a 500 Mbps internet connection.
Also both browsers have the default "ad-block" settings, with no third party extensions.
Any tips?
Thanks -
@jbrugger With Vivaldi 5.5 first load 1 sec, same with Firefox 107 on a 100MBit DSL.

Hi, for me it need 3 seconds but I am on 50 Mbit, reload is 1 second.
What do you meant with "It takes its time"?Cheers, mib

About 5 seconds to load .. (vs "instant" load on Firefox).
So, it's "my" Vivaldi. How could I fix it? -
@jbrugger Any security tools on your PC? Any use of WLAN/Proxy/VPN?

Kaspersky Security Cloud, but no extension installed in Vivaldi (nor Firefox).
No proxy/VPN/WLAN. UTP cable to router. -

Hi, AV software often block Vivaldi, all major browser are "Whitelisted" by default but Vivaldi is not.
I had big issues with Avast for example.
Maybe a simple disable of Kaspersky can show you if this is the problem.
If this problem shows up after an update of Vivaldi a reinstall can help.Cheers, mib

@jbrugger To put this a little differently, many security apps take it upon themselves to "inspect" every operation conducted by any app which is not considered (by the security app) as being known or trusted. If the security app does not have Vivaldi in its white list of known and trusted apps, then it will "inspect" each of its operations before permitting them to proceed. This is not blocking, per se, but it does slow things down.
Worse still, "disabling" the security app usually does not keep it from operating in the background to hold system app functions from proceeding before they are "inspected."

Hi, you are correct, simply disable does not help in some/most cases but it depends on the AV software and the issue.
My Avast problem was solved with disable Avast for a few minutes to get out it is a Avast issue not Vivaldi´s.
@jbrugger to be sure you have to remove Kasperski from your system.Cheers, mib
