Hoverify extention
-
Hoverify is a great extention for gathering resources quickly. It works great in Vivaldi with the exception of one thing - downloading assets. So you can enter a page and click Hoverify > Assets and then download the ones you want individually (jpg, gif, png, svg - you get the gist) or all at once in a neatly packed zip file. This function works just fine in Chrome, Firefox, Brave and Edge, but not Vivaldi.
I asked the developer, and his response was "We don't support Vivaldi unfortunately, because it has a different way of dealing with popups.
Anyone have any idea on how I could get this to work?

@svenerik Take a look at the request for a Links Panel, which would make it easy to download multiple content from a web page.
-
@svenerik Why should we fix or help a paid 30 $$ extension? Irritating.
-
@DoctorG Why not? It supports every chromium based browser, but for some reason Vivaldi goes beyond chromium and breaks some of its features.
I'd love for Vivaldi to support this plugin, but I'm not making any demands here, so please don't treat my inquiry like that's what I'm doing.
I'm simply asking if anyone has any ideas how to make this work.

Means: the
HorrifyHoverify developer is not interested to check for paying customers why his extension work fails. Incredible. And i fear that Vivaldi devs are not willing to pay 30 $/yr only to test why the extension fails with Vivaldi.

@svenerik But you aready have asked and verified with the extension author that it fails in Vivaldi. No need for others to test more.
Report it and Vivaldi dev team can decide if they want to check.Good luck.

@svenerik The is no other way than reporting the broken extension to Vivaldi bug tracker.
Or you have to wait until an other user has purchased such extension and can debug the extension in Vivaldi Developer Tools.
