Unable to log into account due to 17003 error

I am trying to move to a new machine, and having trouble logging into my Vivaldi account on the new or old machine to get SYNC done. I keep getting the 17003 "multiple wrong password attempts" and "wait 5 minutes and try again". I've tried waiting 10 minutes and then pull the password from my Bitwarden password manager and it gives me the same error. No matter how long I wait, I cannot do a 'forgot my password' reset. I simply get an error that states the account is locked and the password cannot be reset. Please help.

Hi, it is may better not to publish your email address in a forum.
Anyway, you can login to the forum, this is the same username/password as the sync login.
You cant login to Vivaldi sync with a Gmail address.
Than there is the encryption password but this come up after you login.Cheers, mib

I wanted to solve a similar problem with log in to another device but apparently there is still no solution.
