Every time I translate it, the letters are broken
-
Hello, I am a user living in South Korea.
I hate leaving comments on SNS, and most of all, I was afraid of English, so I tried not to write, but you're making me come all the way here and write.
First of all, my bug symptom is that whenever I use the English->Korean translation function in Vivaldi browser, the letters are broken.
- I had such symptoms while using the Android app, so I changed the font, deleted the data, installed the app again, and tried this and that, but it didn't work, so I even started the factory. No matter how many times I searched on Google and Vivaldi forums, no one had the same symptoms as me. So I thought my smartphone was a problem.
Above all, I happened to see a post on Vivaldi Forum that translates Japanese and Chinese well, and I could believe it because Lingvanex is a software that sells for money and works well in Europe, and Vivaldi has a tradition of more than 10 years, so I could believe it.

I installed the Vivaldi browser on my desktop. The symptoms are the same. For some reason, I thought that the font I am using on both machines was a problem, so I changed the system font to a program called modpanel, but there was a problem with the system, so I even formatted the PC.

I didn't know if it was Vivaldi's problem or Lingvanex's problem, so I just used, but when I heard that Korean was added to the Lingvanex translation function in Brave browser today, the translation was so good.
And once again, I accessed the same page with the Vivaldi browser. I was disappointed when I saw the letters being broken. Brave and Vivaldi both use the same lingvanex translation function, but why does the Brave browser have good translation function, and why does the Vivaldi browser have all the letters broken?
I don't know about other things, but shouldn't your homepage be translated well? The menu on your forum site is broken. I don't know about anything else, but don't advertise that the translation function is built into the Korean Google Play app description. There might be another second victim like me who is wasting time and struggling.
And lastly, do you ignore Korea? Although Korea is a small country in Asia, it belongs to a large language with nearly 100 million Korean speakers worldwide. But why are you being so rude? There is no Korean bulletin board on the forum, and the Korean page is not properly translated, but with what conscience did you promote that the Google Play introduction section has a translation function?
When I googled, someone claimed that it was the Vivaldi browser that connected the spirit of Opera 12.16, and as someone who loved the opera Presto version very much, let me say something.
One might think that opera presto's special advantage is its various functions and Vivaldi inherited the spirit of opera in that regard, but in my case, opera presto's advantage was its speed and stability.
Ten years ago, I was using a very slow old laptop, the only one that could surf the web smoothly in the Opera Presto browser.
But what about the Vivaldi browser that claims to have inherited the spirit of the opera Presto? It's slow, it's slow, it's not stable, so can we claim that we took over the soul of the opera?
I'm still angry when I think about the factory initialization and formatting because of you guys.
I'll be waiting for the Korean patch to be done as soon as possible.
I've had a lot of bad experiences with the Vivaldi browser, but at least I like the interface, so I'm going to decide whether to keep using it or not after seeing the patch.
Thank you for reading this long message.

I see from the feature page it says that vivaldi hosts the tool on their own servers. So it might not be exactly the same lingvanex instance that brave uses - that may be why differences appear.

Vivaldi mostly relies on community help to do translation and managing the other language's community. It might be that we simply haven't had enough users from Korea logging in to the forum. If you can spot specific cases of mis-translations you can report them to be fixed.
