Solved error : Only one Id allowed in non-authenticated state

Any news about this topic? I have the same problem with my job account but it is perfectly working with other email clients, even with the old Opera Mail.
In the past, there were short periods when it worked, but it has been more than a year now with no authentication results.

I'm discovering during these days that when I open Thunderbird together to Vivaldi, this last client can finally fetch the e-mails!
In my case Thunderbird is set to STARTLS and it points to another port.

Hi, iirc Vivaldi doesn't support StartTLS on POP 3 for incomming mails, only for outgoing SMTP servers. -

Exactly. Thunderbird can use both the settings and in this moment it is set with STARTTLS. Once Thunderbird is opened, Vivaldi email client is working properly.Thunderbird can fetch the emails using also the same settings that Vivaldi uses in this moment, i.e. 993 port and SSL/TLS.

No, my account is a job email server. It has the "lnl.infn.it" domain. -

Hm, I fear this is a Mircosoft Exchange Server and Vivaldi doesn't support it.
I hope other users can explain this better, something with a propritary mail protocol. -
I have the exact same problem on my university email account.
