[Settings] Option to disable autocomplete on all forms: under Security and Privacy (VB-17716)
The ability to control this within the V settings is much appreciated
In Chromium the option is called "Addresses and more". Just wondering if it would be possible to separate the auto-fill of addresses from the "and more" part. Because I love the ability to fill my address in all those (annoying) registration forms, but I really dislike it remembering anything I typed into various random fields. And if I clear auto-fill data it will also clear saved addresses ...
I'm guessing this is as always limited to Chromium's data structure but would be great to have an option to not save random data from fields but still be able to have it auto-fill addresses.
@frommhold Thanks pal

@jacekn
can you save the adress as a bookmark and assign a nickname to it? this should help -
@altcode: Its a known issue, VB-91618: Closed window not added to trash until another tab is closed
hopefully we got a fix for it soon -
Good to see that pesky window outline gone. Thanks!

The bookmark icon should also be improved. Unfortunately, it is very difficult to recognise different states. Something like this would be good: https://imgur.com/a/7gW42Ko

"Use Native Windows" has duplicated buttons and titles.
It is really fast... the fastest Vivaldi was ever and maybe close to others browsers.
Without "User Native Windows" on it seen to lag behind others browsers in terms of performance... this new Snapshot to me is slower than previous or 5.4.I'm using a Dell Latitute 5420 with 32GB RAM... I disable hardware acceleration too because it feel slower with it enabled (same for Chrome or Edge).

Address bar drop-down doesn't seem to be working in this version (Windows x64, autocomplete disabled, drop-down only offers Search, not previously visited pages), I also have double titlebar (native from Windows [enabled in Settings] and a Chrome-like titlebar below it; all menus [right-click menu included] also open at an offset):

@Ruarí - thank you; I am glad to see the Windows 7 border issue has been fixed. I love how Vivaldi starts up now. Perfect.
-
Thank you devs! The window coming-unmaximized bug seems fixed. May its death be eternal.

Hovering over the maximize window button crashes Vivaldi (Windows 11).

If the subject of an RSS entry contains ampersand (&), only the part before it is copied upon selecting 'Copy Subject'. E.g. copying the subject "Me & You together" will copy only 'Me'.

PIp corners are not rounded. Is this intentional?
-
@ImStillAnOperaFanBoy On Windows 11 corners of PiP are rounded.
-
@doctorg: I'm using Windows 11, but it's not rounded.
-
@doctorg: I gonna try in another pc.
