Outlook PWA Calendar
-
I am trying to add my Outllok PWA Calendar.
I have followed these instructions:
Web calendar
Web calendars, for example local public holidays or your favourite sport’s team’s match calendar, are a good way to follow events that you don’t want to add manually yourself, but would still like to know about. Web calendar events are read-only, meaning you can view them, but only the calendar owner can edit the events. After you’ve selected Web Calendar as the account type:
Give the Calendar account a name.
Enter the calendar’s link (make sure the URL ends with .ics).
Click Add Account.
Select the calendars you want to sync with Vivaldi Calendar, which one’s to hide and which one is the account’s default calendar.
If the web calendar has limited access, enter your username and password. In case it’s a public calendar leave the username and password fields empty.
Click Done or Add Another Account if you have more accounts to add.The Setup in progress seems to stop on "Verifying"
What am I doing wrong?
PS: My aim is to sync the calendars, not simply import events.

@mstev2 Outlook calendar as a web calendar in Vivaldi should work well. I have just tested it and it synced the events without problems.
Most likely cause for stopping at "Verifying..." is that there is some problem with the URL used. To get the correct URL in Outlook web app go to Settings -> View all Outlook settings -> Calendar -> Shared Calendars and then copy the ICS link for the calendar you wish to follow at the bottom of the page. Some server setups have this option for sharing the calendar disabled, in that case we do not know of a way to sync the calendars.
This method should get you a read only view of the calendar which automatically updates every 10 minutes with any changes made. Unfortunately Microsoft does not support CalDAV for their calendar services so 2-way sync of events is not possible for Outlook calendars at this time.
There may of course be some other issues causing this, like f.ex. network problems or bugs in Vivaldi. Please respond back if it does not work for you following this.
