Solved How do I permanently get rid of the small icons/pinned tabs next to the menu button that keep popping up?
-
Hi, I just installed the browser and I don't quite understand how it works yet. For some reason a small icon keeps popping up next to the menu button. Apparently it's a pinned tab. I keep unpinning and closing it, but it keeps coming back sometimes there is second duplicate icon. No matter what I try to disable in the settings, it keeps coming back. The only thing I managed to disable was "unread indicators" in the corner of the icon. I never "pinned" anything, I don't have this page bookmarked and I never visited it on this browser so I don't understand what's happening. How can I disable these pinned tabs for good? Any help would be appreciated.

It appears the problem was caused by a new extension I installed so now the problem has been resolved. It was just odd that it kept trying to open these small icon tabs between the menu and the regular tabs. Anyway, it is resolved now

I would also like to add that the icon disappears by itself after a while, but then it reappears and it maximizes the browser if it's minimized

@Crabb99 It may be just because you are new, and your reputation points were too low. Now that you have two, you might be able to edit the post. If not, never mind.
If you remember next time, you can submit a new topic as a question, and mark it as resolved when a suitable answer is given (if you find one for yourself, mark your own reply as the correct answer).
