How to remove search engines

When typing in the address bar, I get 2 icons for bing, 2 icons for ecosia, and 3 icons for google appear under it!
I though I had solved it when I went to my desktop browser settings and removed the extra search engines, but on android I still see the multiple search engine icons!
Both desktop and android browsers are synced. -

Hi, sometimes it take a while to get it synced on Android.
Open vivaldi://sync-internals on the Android device and click on Trigger GetUpdates:
In the right list the number of search engines is shown.

Thanks, it took a while to get synced, but I still cannot get rid of duck and yahoo search, is that embeded in the android browser?

No idea, I have Duck two times but no Yahoo.
I have reduced the search engines to 7 but vivaldi://sync-internals shows 11.
This feature is still not really perfect, I guess the marketing department ask for new features instead of finishing the old ones. Most companies does this today, unfortunately.Cheers, mib
