So I guess Google is afraid of Vivaldi?
I mean you can't log into Gmail with Vivaldi!!
WTF! That is a$$.Google says:
"Sign in with a supported browser
To help protect your account, Google doesn’t let you sign in from some browsers. Google might stop sign-ins from browsers that:Don’t support JavaScript or have JavaScript turned off
Have unsecure or unsupported extensions added
Are being controlled through software automation rather than a human
Are embedded in a different application
Step 1. Use a supported browser
These and other browsers support JavaScript:Chrome
Safari
Firefox
Opera
Edge" -
@beansandfranks WiFi shouldn't be the cause of this problem. There are a few Vivaldi settings that can cause issues with logging into Google services.
Make sure that under
vivaldi://settings/privacy/
you haveGoogle Services Token
enabled.Another possible problem could come from blocking
Third-Party Cookies
. You can eitherAllow All
undervivaldi://settings/privacy/
or allow the specific ones required for Gmail by going to theBlocked
section of theCookies
setting under the padlock icon to the left of the URL in the address bar. -

Yes, I am sorry for being stupid here.
I found this issue addressed in a prior thread, and I should have done the search first!
Thanks to all. -
