Right click on tab bar not working

I have no idea when this started because I don't do this action that often. I closed a tab today and wanted to reopen it and nothing happened. I can right click on tabs and it works fine. I can CTRL+Z to reopen a closed tab. I just get nothing when I right click the tab bar. Any suggestions? I tried to log in again. I tried deactivating my extensions in linux. I am a bit confused.

@guigirl Tab bar on Left/right/bottom, can pop-up.Only on top can't.

@Aaron Is that only true on Linux? It works fine on my Windows partition.

@guigirl @guigirl I'm curious if as another poster said I just can't have that option on Linux? Does it work when tabs are on top? It worked fine on my windows partition.

I'm extremely confused why they would only allow this menu in every orientation but the one I presume 90% of people use?

@AWildJesse Enable the Use of Native Window in the Settings then it works fine. Also, who cares if it works on Winblows in the Linux section, if you want you can ask them in the dedicated Winblows section or re-post in the generic parent Support & Troubleshooting section which is supposed to be OS-agnostic.

@AWildJesse Re Reopen Closed Tab, don't forget you have numerous ways (as you already mentioned "on tabs" and "a keyboard shortcut") for the same task, for example if you wouldn't like to be using the Native Window -why wouldn't you not-, you 'd still have the trash-can to reopen your last closed tab, or a mouse-gesture, or you could right-click the new-tab plus button, or even better, you could add an entry to your webpage (and/or start page), see customize application and context menus, that way you wouldn't have to move your mouse cursor to the tab bar every time, you could do it from where you are, I do it for many tasks for which I otherwise would need to visit certain menus and whatnot, it's so much faster this way

Does it work when tabs are on top?
To test, independent of any possible modding influence in my Default profile [ie, i have many mods in it, which potentially might affect the outcome], i launched my virgin profile... & can confirm that to my surprise, with top tabbar the context-menu does not appear [Arch KDE]. Next, per @npro's sage suggestion [not bad for a pimply precocious 10 year old, eh?
] i activated NW in said profile, after which indeed the CM does appear.Now to respond directly to our resident 10 y/o [this is marvellous, @npro & i shall have great fun with this for the next little while, i suspect

Absolutely, I use my MG for this maybe 90% of the time, with the trash icon the other 42% of the time
MGs are just so wonderful; i cannot imagine trying to use any browser sans-MGs
