Flash, Backspace, back button woes…
-
I use a tool for my business that is built in flash. When I type and make a typo, the backspace key actually works like the back button, erasing everything I've done. I have to keep Chrome around as it doesn't show that behavior itself. I've tried the various chrome extensions (ie. backmeansback) and they don't work either. Help?

That seems to have worked. I do want to reiterate that Chrome does not have this issue (which Vivaldi is built on the Chromium project). It seems that Chrome has fixed this "bug in flash". It seems Vivaldi should implement that same fix? Either case, I'm not a keyboard shortcut user so I'm find with leaving them disabled for now.

So it turns out that I do use one keyboard shortcut - I use cmd+shift+n for opening incognito windows to test web design work. I played around a bit and found that enabling "inherit from system preferences" fixed the back issue as well as allowed my keyboard shortcut to work. I really don't think this is a flash bug to be honest. My two cents.

That link goes to a 404 for me.
