Solved How Do I Unblock A Site From Downloading
-
First, I KNOW this was asked in 2018 but the poster never got a relevant answer as far as I can see, so I'm posting this now.
I accidentally clicked several files to download from a site and Vivaldi popped-up a warning saying "such-and-such a site is attempting to download multiple files, - Block or Allow"
I clicked Block thinking the message meant exactly what it said, ie. the site would be blocked from trying to download MULTIPLE files, but now I can't download anything from there.
Worse, I can find NO setting section where this site can be unblocked, the last post in the 2018 thread mentioned cookies, but I see nothing there for this site.
So, I'm asking the same question as asked in 2018, how do I unblock downloads from this site?

@Kraggy Hi, click the Site Info button and set to Allowed or Reset permissions:
OR open URL:
chrome://settings/content/automaticDownloads
And remove any exceptions.(No direct option in Vivaldi UI for this yet so needs to use Chromium settings pages...)
And if you're talking about sites like Mega, then yes, they require this permission for downloads to work...

Ah, excellent, thank you, I admit I never realised is was actually a button, I thought it was just the 'secure' indicator.
Something new learned today.
Cheers
