Big Gmail Desktop View Issue
-
Looks like I can't upload images to show the screenshots of the issue.
At any rate, Gmail (mail.google.com) doesn't work as intended when the desktop option in Vivaldi Android App is checked.
Instead of the desktop version of the site, Gmail loads a very limited mobile version of the site...less than ideal.
In order to solve for this I have to uncheck the desktop mode in vivaldi android browser and the reload the actual gmail mobile web version....
Then I have to scroll down to the bottom of the left hand nav within the gmail app to request through gmail the desktop version of the webapp...
That's fine but if I'm working with multiple gmail accounts....When I switch to a different account instead of switching accounts, it loads the original account again and since its in a new tab it starts the original issue of loading in desktop mode via vivaldi into a limited mobile optimized version and the problem repeats never letting me switch which gmail account i'm using...
Please help solve this issue.
Other than this I would love to have the tabs with just the favicon customizable to the left since address bar is already possible on the bottom (for Android)

¡Hello, @philliplanos
!
I just did a little test and this is how Gmail displays. There is no way to view it like on the PC because since it is a Google application, it automatically recommends you to open it from the application.
Regarding your second question, in the configuration options by accessing the menu Vivaldi - Show tabs as icons

Thanks brother, I currently have the icons active - just not able to move them to the left at the time instead of below the way that its currently possible on MacOS.
As for Gmail, yeah, I figured that was going to be an issue - Ive used other app on iOS for example that use a Browser ID Signal change and report that they're actually Safari on Mac or Chrome on Windows and they were able to get around that...
The name of that app was iCab Mobile on iOS and I havent seen any other mobile browser do that but it made a world of difference in the desktop experience on Mobile.

@philliplanos Use this url : https://mail.google.com/mail/u/0/?ui=2#inbox
If you have multiple accounts, just add the "0" with 1.
So, for your second account use this url : https://mail.google.com/mail/u/1/?ui=2#inbox
For third account: https://mail.google.com/mail/u/2/?ui=2#inbox and so on.
I hope it helps -
@bswn You're a genius! Thanks for that. I was wondering what the url structure had to do with it.
