      Hello,

I am using Vivaldi on Windows 10 since a long time. Unfortunately, since version 5.1, I can no longer update Vivaldi. All versions newer than 5.1 crash immediately after opening (only frame of GUI visible, no content, window closes directly). I tried versions for 32 and 64 bit. Nothing works. Can anybody help?

      Thank you in advance!

Thank you, after several trials I have deleted all profile data after uninstalling Vivaldi. Afterwards I recognized that the Vivaldi updater was still showing up. I also deleted it separately. Now the latest update is working.

@frid0lin It could be the Sessions folders in your Profile. Do you know how to find that?

            Hi Ayespy,

thanks for your quick answer. I have two folders in C:\Users{User}\AppData\Local\Vivaldi\User Data\Default, Sessions and Session Storage. Should I delete the content in them?

@frid0lin Yes. You will lose your existing tabs, but it may unlock Vivaldi for you.
