Hi, there will be a Dashlane/Adblock support ?
-
All in the subject, just want to know if this will be done soon or not ? Cordially

To be honest like the CEO said, I would prefer things which are very useful to be integrated vs having them as plugins.
An ad blocker is something I would rather see build in. (or not, it would be unfair for websites that earn money on ads, they would certainly not promote the browser…)
Actually there is one already, look under Page Actions there is something called Content Blocker. Not sure if its working but I did a quick test and it blocked ads in one website.

That's the good idea,, i hope the Adblock not included superfish.com(this superfish i think tracking something, i dont know why this always appear when im using adblock),
because thats gonna increasing speed index to load for 1 page,
i have adblock on my chrome browser and they include superfish.com, thats increasing my speed index for 1 seconds, so total 7 second (if im not use adblock took 6 secs) -

They should do both–build a lot in and support extensions. We saw what happened when Opera spent the majority of its life not supporting extensions.
And in this case, there's really no reason not to do it since the underlying structure is so close to Chrome that extensions should be compatible. No wheel reinvention.
Also, there are some extensions that are so good that they can never be replicated. See LastPass as an example.

Ok for Adblocker, but what's about Dashlane ? I really work all the time with Dashlane for last 2 years with my computers and phones to have my passwords and notes everywhere and safe (it's an independant software who work really good with browsers by an extension). The password manager in Vivaldi is not what i need. Lastpass don't work like Dashlane (it's just a web interface with extensions), for me Dashlane is better and finally not really comparable to Lastpass, try it and you'll see.
Sorry for my English.

+1 for adblock/content blocker built-in
-
where do I find Page Actions. I've looked and can't find them.
-
In the status bar under the icon with the sort of "less than/grater than" symbols.
And yes, it's really hard to find.

Just curious, what is it that Dashlane does that Lastpass cannot? Last time I tried Dashlane was a year ago and functionality was about the same. Dashlane had slightly better UI but did not support basic http authentication (this was a deal breaker for me). They've been blaming lack of http auth on a Chrome bug, but could not explain why it works in Lastpass.

Thank you so much!

Thank you ! But you forgot to say that when you have chrome installed and you click on manage chrome extensions, the link is open in Chrome, you need to copy past the link on Vivaldi then click on install.
I just missing bookmarks sync now ^^.

Hi guys, I'm having trouble installing dashlane, and it's kind of a deal breaker for me. But i really want to try out vivaldi.
- found the .crx file and tried to drag it into vivaldi, no dice.
- In uninstalled the extension from chrome, set vivaldi as the default and tried to install like pablofabianbm, no dice.
Any other thoughts on how to install the dashlane extension?

I installed the extension by going here:

Difference between Laspass and Dashlane? Lastpass has been hacked,
