It's good to have an account, because with it you can access also the other services which Vivaldi offers, it is valid for the Vivaldi Social in Mastodon, Pixelfed (it's the federated and private alternative to Instagram), a own blog page, sync, and with some participation in the forum and the other also somewhat later a own Vivaldi mail account.

@mycologycollege, welcome and enjoy. Yes, it's usfull to put the sys specs in the signature, in case of an issue it's easier than asking every time for it by the user which want to help, if needed.
