Scrolling with touchpad and than pressing Alt

Scrolling with touchpad has buildin momentum, so after finishing the scroll gesture the scrolling continues. But while this scrolling is ongoing and I press Alt, the functionality for changing tabs starts and tabs start radically changing. I usually want to activate alt+tab to switch windows and while switching I notice tabs changing.
Also with scroll and pressing Ctrl it is possible to achieve 510% zoom.

Ah, someone else who's encountered this!
I reported it in 2018 as: VB-44501 "Flicking" a website and then pressing control causes it to start zooming
I don't use my laptop much anymore, but I remember this bug being extremely annoying back when I did.
