Is Google Analytics Opt-out Add-on (by Google) extension redundant with proper privacy settings? If I choose "do not track" in settings and adblock enabled can I go without this extension?

@gabrasca Yes, the default enabled lists (DDG tracker radar I believe) blocks requests to:
https://www.google-analytics.com/analytics.js.

So no need for an extension - especially one actually written by the baddies themselves...

I blocked google-analytics with uBlock Origin with my own filter in "My Filters".

I use WhatCampaign extension, it swap out Google Analytics parameters with invalid data
