Is there any way to disable animation in the text window in Messenger?
-
Hello:
This is going to be more difficult - but I wanted to see if there are options. About a year ago, our friends at Facebook added in an animation on the web version of Messenger - when you start to type, it shifts left, and then shifts right with send. For most people, it's fine - but with my eyes, it makes it unusable. Given Vivaldi's customizability, is there any possible to turn this off? It seems unlikely - but I'm running out of options.
Thanks!

@jmaaron Try disabling Javascript for the site by clicking the padlock icon. A lot of sites rely on Javascript, so that will probably break other things that you do need, but it might disable the text animation.

Hi! How do I disable Javascript? When I click the padlock, it just takes me general settings...

@jmaaron Open the Site Settings to block Javascript.

@pesala Thanks! I found it! But with Javascript disabled, it won't even load the page. It was worth trying - thanks!
