Roboform Extension
-
I've added Roboform anticipating it's availability from Chrome Store and anticipated an easily added 'extension' - doesn't seem to be available! What to do?
-
@wvzr-1 For me https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/roboform-password-manager/pnlccmojcmeohlpggmfnbbiapkmbliob shows up. //edited URL
Is the button to add extension missing on Chrome Web Store? If yes, check Settings → Privacy → Google extensions and activate the setting Chrome Web Store.

It appears in the 'STORE' but it 'CAN NOT' be added to Vivaldi. It seems likely that it isn't supported by them. If there's a 'work around' to force an add I'm likely interested.

I can add with 4.3.2439.65 Stable and 5.0.2497.10 Snapshot on Win 11 21H2.

I DO APPRECIATE THE EFFORT TO HELP!!!!
I can see it in the store but can't seem to add!
That didn't help me in my quest to add it to Vivaldi. Maybe explain so that this 75+ year old mind can sort!!!
I've the same Stable version, I don't understand the 5.0.2497.10 and I've a W10 Windows 10 Version 21H1 (Build 19043.1348)
Yesterday I did get a message in some fashion from Siber Sys that it wasn't supported. The Robo is 9.2.1.1 I believe and dated Nov 5 2021.

@wvzr-1 Not sure if you missed it from above, but @DoctorG gave the likely solution:
Is the button to add extension missing on Chrome Web Store? If yes, check Settings → Privacy → Google extensions and activate the setting Chrome Web Store.
If the extension page looks like this:
Then you need to enable that setting and you will get this:

Well - I hadn't missed anything that had been explained and I certainly expected the 'Add to Chrome' after I did the same/similar procedure. The WEB STORE had been ticked all day yesterday, and through the early morning hours today. I did several 'untick' restart Vivaldi, then 'tick' and restart Vivaldi with the same results - NO 'Add to Chrome' option ever. I had actually done a PC Restart after a couple attempts.
5 minutes ago I thought I'd try one last time and then 'consider' a Browser change.
I'll be damned!! I did the 'untick', restarted the PC again and on the next attempt I 'ticked' it, restarted Vivaldi and 'Add to Chrome' appeared. The 'checking' ran for several minutes and I finally just clicked add. During the attempts earlier I had also logged out of the store, logged into the store etc.
I do have it!!!
Thanks to ALL!!!
**** The only thing different this last time is Vivaldi wasn't the 'Default Browser' I had installed Maxthon Browser anticipating a change.

@wvzr-1 That is a really strange issue, some users told weeks ago experiencing such with Chrome Web Store even if the privacy setting was active. Seems something got broken after an update of Vivaldi on your side.
Luckily you could solve this unpleasant issue. -
@WVZR-1 O, i see you are a new user!
